Proposition 65, the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a law that requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. The warnings are intended to help California consumers make informed decisions about their exposure to these chemicals from the products they use. The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) administers the Proposition 65 program and publishes the listed chemicals, which includes more than 850 chemicals. In August 2016, OEHHA adopted new regulations, effective on August 30, 2018, which change the information required in Proposition 65 warnings.

This compact coupler provides a dependable RJ45 cable extension point while offering the mechanical strength and latch-lock reliability associated with Neutrik etherCON connectivity.

Built for demanding professional and semi-professional installations, the NE8FFX6-W accommodates standard RJ45 plugs and is designed with CAT6A component compliance according to ISO/IEC 11801 and TIA/EIA 568-C.2. Its small form factor makes it especially useful for patch panels, rack panels, wall plates, stage boxes, equipment enclosures, and cable-extension applications where space is limited but connection reliability is critical.

Application Note:
The NE8FFX6-W provides IP65 protection when properly mated with compatible NE8MX6-series etherCON connectors. It also accepts standard RJ45 plugs, making it a flexible adapter for both ruggedized etherCON installations and conventional network patching.
