MTP® Fiber Cables — High-Density Trunks, Breakouts & Custom Assemblies
Our MTP® (multi-fiber) assemblies are built for modern data centers, enterprise networks, and telecom environments where density, speed, and clean cable management matter. From backbone trunks to equipment fan-outs, we build solutions that deploy fast, route cleanly, and test out right the first time.
This page covers the most common MTP cable styles we provide:
Trunk cables, breakout / fan-out assemblies, and hybrid terminations to interface MTP infrastructure with standard connector formats. We also support custom lengths, labeling, and pull-strength options for real-world installs.
Common Configurations & Options
- Fiber type — Single-mode (OS2) or Multimode (OM3 / OM4).
- Fiber count — 8 / 12 / 16 / 24 (and higher on request).
- Polarity — Type A, B, or C matched to your cassettes, trunks, and patching method.
- Pinning / keying — pinned/unpinned and key orientation aligned to your deployment standard.
- Jacket & build — plenum/riser/LSZH options, and flexible routing builds for cabinets and rows.
- Testing — 100% optical test (IL/continuity) to ensure consistent performance and fast turn-up.
Where MTP Makes the Biggest Difference
- Backbone trunking — high-density pathways between racks, rows, and zones.
- Trunk-to-breakout transitions — fan-outs from MTP into equipment ports and patch fields.
- 40G/100G/200G/400G ready — clean scaling with fewer individual jumpers.
- Faster MACs — modular swaps that reduce downtime and rework.
What We Need From You
To quote/build the right assembly, provide:
fiber type (OS2/OM3/OM4), fiber count, length, connector types on each end, and your required polarity (A/B/C). If you’re unsure, tell us what you’re connecting (switch ↔ patch panel ↔ cassette) and we’ll help match the polarity/pinning.

Below are examples of real-world MTP builds.

Rack-Ready Patch Harness— MTP®/MPO trunk with labeled LC fan-out legs for clean routing.
MTP Breakout / Fan-Out — clean transition from trunk to standard equipment ports.
High-Density Patch Field — MTP® trunk to multi-fiber fan-out for dense patch panels.

Polarity / Keying Example — MTP® trunk and breakout showing A/B/C polarity and keying.
Pull-Eye / Install Build — pull-strength hardware for conduit and long-path pulls.
Custom Length + Labeling — purpose-built assemblies for fast deployment and clean documentation.
