The Neutrik NE8MXR-B-TOP is a next-generation etherCON® TOP (TRUE OUTDOOR PROTECTION)
RJ45 carrier cable connector designed for demanding outdoor and industrial Ethernet applications. Its
unique retractable shell allows the connector body to fully retract, making it compatible with standard RJ45
receptacles and etherCON® jacks, while eliminating the risk and frustration of lost shells in the field.

Built around a rugged zinc die-cast shell with a chuck-type strain relief and robust TPE boot, the NE8MXR-B-TOP
delivers IP65-level protection (when mated or capped), UV resistance, and corrosion-resistant performance in
harsh environments. It is designed for non pre-assembled cables and accepts common RJ45 plugs, allowing installers
to build custom cable assemblies on site while protecting fragile RJ45 latches and contacts from damage.

Important: This carrier connector does not include an RJ45 plug; it is intended for use with user-supplied
RJ45 cable assemblies. It does not intermate with CAT6 receptacles NE8FDY-C6 and NE8FDY-C6-B.
