For California Residents Only: California Proposition 65 Warning
WARNING: Some products may contain chemicals that are known to the State of California to cause cancer or reproductive harm.
Proposition 65, the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a law that requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. The warnings are intended to help California consumers make informed decisions about their exposure to these chemicals from the products they use. The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) administers the Proposition 65 program and publishes the listed chemicals, which includes more than 850 chemicals. In August 2016, OEHHA adopted new regulations, effective on August 30, 2018, which change the information required in Proposition 65 warnings.

This OS2 MTP® trunk fiber optic cable series is built for high-density data center, telecom, and structured cabling environments where long-distance performance, scalable fiber counts, and rugged cable construction matter. Featuring OS2 9/125 single-mode fiber, MTP® female-to-female connectivity, and a durable OFNP plenum-rated double jacket, these trunk cables are ideal for backbone, horizontal, and zone distribution applications.
Available in 12, 24, 36, 48, 72, 96, and 144 fiber configurations, these factory-terminated assemblies support high-density backbone links, MTP® cassette interconnects, trunk extensions, and long-reach optical network infrastructure. The double-jacket construction helps improve durability and crush resistance for longer cable runs and dense routing paths.
Connectors Cable Mgmt Tutorial
| Fiber Count | Typical Use |
|---|---|
| 12 Fiber | Small single-mode trunk links, cassette feeds, and compact backbone connections |
| 24 Fiber | Higher-density cabinet-to-cabinet or row-to-row trunking |
| 36 Fiber | Expanded backbone capacity with multiple 12-fiber groupings |
| 48 Fiber | Dense patching fields and multi-cassette distribution |
| 72 Fiber | Large facility backbone runs and aggregation areas |
| 96 Fiber | High-capacity distribution and scalable network expansion |
| 144 Fiber | Maximum-density trunking for major backbone and zone distribution areas |
