WARNING: Some products may contain chemicals that are known to the State of California to cause cancer or reproductive harm.

Proposition 65, the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a law that requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. The warnings are intended to help California consumers make informed decisions about their exposure to these chemicals from the products they use. The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) administers the Proposition 65 program and publishes the listed chemicals, which includes more than 850 chemicals. In August 2016, OEHHA adopted new regulations, effective on August 30, 2018, which change the information required in Proposition 65 warnings.

Description:

Rack Extender Bracket Set — 3U

The 3U Rack Extender Bracket Set is designed to extend rack- or cabinet-mounted equipment 4 inches forward, providing additional clearance for cable routing, rear connectors, or deeper equipment installations. These adapters allow rack-mounted hardware to be repositioned for improved accessibility and cable management within telecom and data center racks.

Manufactured in the USA from premium 16-gauge steel, these rack extender brackets provide excellent rigidity and durability. Each adapter is finished with a satin black powder coat for long-lasting corrosion resistance and a clean professional appearance.

10-32 PEM nuts are inserted on one side of the adapters, while the opposite side features EIA-spaced rack slots for mounting equipment rails or hardware. This configuration allows the brackets to integrate easily with standard rack hardware.

Each pair of adapters ships boxed and includes two types of EIA-style rack mounting hardware:

  • 8 × 12-24 Black Panhead Dog-Head Phillips Screws
  • 8 × 10-32 Black Panhead Dog-Head Phillips Screws

Maintenance Tip: Multiply the U size by 1.75 to determine rack height in inches (1 inch = 2.54 cm). Example: 5U × 1.75″ = 8.75″ ≈ 22.23 cm.
