Proposition 65, the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a law that requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. In August 2016, OEHHA adopted new regulations, effective on August 30, 2018, which change the information required in Proposition 65 warnings.

The LED port identification feature is not continuously powered. LEDs illuminate only when an external tester is connected to provide 5V power. For tracing and identification, use the #UP-LED-SIG-GEN signal transmitter, which powers the 3-6 pair to trace from the jack back to the LED patch panel.
